Learning from Nature

Personally, I define nature as a unity of the living that god has created around us. Nature's main function in our world is to maintain the balance in this world by supplying and standing up for each of nature's component such as giving oxygen that is made by plant for human to breathe, etc. Nowadays, that main goal couldn't be maximizely achieved yet because many humans doesn't really care about nature and only enjoys the benefits that they get from nature by exploiting it's richness for themselves. The effort that is done by the environmental activists aren't enough yet to sustain our nature in a balance status. Other than that, the number of humans that do positive things are less than those ones who actually harm it. I, as a student who cares to all livings including animals and plants, we need to protect them because, they already support our live by giving free oxygen to breathe, a place to live, clean water from the ground, etc. Imagine your life without the existence of the nature. Will you be able to breathe freely like you did just now? Will you have a healthy place to live and have fun with your family? Will you have a source of water that is clean enough for you to drink or take a shower? Will you be able to enjoy the scenery of greenish trees around you and sit under it to relax yourself? If we didn't act now, those questions will be happened for real. Plus, by neglecting the extinction of animals and plants, we didn't only bring destruction towards them, we are also hurting ourself by losing our life source that supports us this whole time. In the end, as a young generation we should preserve nature by doing all forms of protection for the plants and animals such as environmental campaigns and running programs about keeping nature's existence as our urgency.

One of the simplest implementation that we could give to the nature is by planting trees to keep oxygen around us. Guess what? Trees are one of the main part of the living for it has given us benefits that help us survive until now. It has given us food, mineral from the ground, herbals from the roots, oxygen from its photosynthesis reaction, etc. In fact, not only us that get the benefits from the trees, animals also too. They get their food from leaves, their habitat on tree branches and stem, etc. At the end of the day, from this implementation we could learn that caring each other is very important including caring for plants and animals, because if we do so the benefits are going to appear by itself.

Other things that we could learn from the nature is to give as many benefits as possible to living things around us. Trees, they gave oxygen, food, water, source of life, habitat and so much more. Animals, they also gave us source of food, and nutritions for our body. Both of them giving their participation in creating a sustainable ecosystem. As humans, we cannot lose to them. We also must give our best effort in helping the plants survive, protecting the animals from extinction, including helping other people with their problem in real life. In this paragraph, we can conclude that learning from nature by being a human that is useful to others is important.

Lastly, a quote from such an incredible person, Mr. Theodore Roosevelt, saying that, "A people without children, would face a hopeless future. A country without trees, is almost as helpless." What he means is that if we didn't stop the act of illegal logging, and other things that harms the existence of trees, we will be doomed without them. In conclusion, we should let nature be our teacher in life.
